Free counseling for employees and immediate family members
Employees of client companies are eligible for all DIRECTIONS services provided by their employer. Employees or dependents can contact the program directly, or a supervisor may refer an employee. In any event, participation in DIRECTIONS is voluntary.
Services provided by DIRECTIONS are prepaid by your employer, so DIRECTIONS services are free for you and your dependents. If referral to another provider is necessary, a DIRECTIONS counselor will assist you in determining what is appropriate both personally and financially.
Short-term counseling
Allow a caring professional to help you sort through the trials and life issues. Our focus is to help people find workable solutions to their personal concerns using the many resources available at DIRECTIONS. Most EAPs only provide one counseling session (assessment) and then refer you to another provider.
You can see a DIRECTIONS counselor at no charge up to six visits. If longer-term help is recommended, referral options may include continuing with your DIRECTIONS counselor under your insurance coverage.
Confidential
DIRECTIONS assures complete confidentiality according to all HIPPAA regulations. Discussions between client and counselor will remain absolutely confidential.
